Friday Night Lights gets more fun every week! Make sure to check details for week 5 Taco Night Fiesta below.

Schedule change for Saturday March 16th. Due to the St. Pats parade, there will only be one class at 7:30 am followed by Open Gym from 9am - 11am.

Drew's Words of Wisdom...

Vision- Anger clouds your judgment and reaction. It is really easy to snap back quickly after someone or something makes you angry. This usually results in an irrational response. It is much harder to wait, absorb, and redirect. I think about surfing when I think about anger. If you try to stand up against the wave you will get knocked over. If you allow the wave to gently pull you, then use the waves energy to propel you forward. Don't fight against the anger. Quiet it, redirect it and make use of its energy.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

WEEK 4 PRESENTED BY FITAID!

Here is how things stand:

AHH Flock- 2 x 4th place and 2nd place this week equals 4th place overall

Hulks- 3 x third place equals 3rd place OVERALL

Suck it- 2 x first place and 1 fourth place = 2nd overall

Purple Reign- 2x second place and a week 3 WIN put The Purple reign in FIRST PLACE overall by 2 points!!!!

FNL Score Cards are your ticket into the event. Make sure you bring your completed card, and if can't be there Friday night, turn it in the last day of the week you are there. Every point counts, and all the ways to earn point help your performance on Friday night.

Week 5 Taco Night Fiesta!!!! 4pm - until. All athletes are welcome (bring something to share). Beer will be provided by Savannah Brewing Co. We're dividing up the food into the following categories:

Yellow and Green Team - proteins and rice/beans

Purple Team - desserts

Pink Team - chips, tortillas, toppings, and sides

Make sure to use the hashtag #hpafnl when you check-in!

OPEN GYM Announcement

This year for Friday Night Lights (FNL) there will be no scheduled friday classes. We want to see you on Friday night. The evening will be spent doing the Open WOD as a huge group in heats.

As an alternative, there will be an OPEN GYM time from 6am - 12 noon on Fridays and Saturdays from 11am - 2 pm.

Open Gym is available for all current members (even if you are not doing FNL). GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED FOR OPEN GYM.

Open gym will look a little different than regular classes. There will be a coach monitoring, but it is up to YOU to self motivate. The coaching staff will give suggestions and help, but will NOT lead you through your workout or judge you for the Open. We will have a suggested workout on the board, or you can do any WOD missed during the week. This is a great opportunity to practice any skill, do some extra strength work, or just get in some mobility before the evening event.

The board is in the back! But it's still there - keep pushing to make positive changes and let's see how far we get by March 31st.

Olympic Lifting Specialty Course -

The next Olympic Specialty Course Launches APRIL 6th at 1015am. Details released ASAP, limited to 10 spots.

WORKOUT PREVIEW

Tuesday is a little twist on the interval days. 4 different couplets.

Wednesday- some snatch from the hang then 75 Shoulder to over head.

Thursday- 15 min partner relay

Friday- Open gym is a partner relay as well then 19.4.

Saturday- Run and Box jump, pull-ups and static hold amrap.
