Core Movements Seminar (aka Barbell Basics) rescheduled

If you missed the barbell basics seminar - don't fret. We had a sick little one and rescheduled the workshop to This Wednesday November 19th at 6pm. We will cover all the barbell movements in one class so you can see what's what and throw in some other basics like jump-rope and handstands too. This is perfect for new crossfitters and those thinking about starting crossfit. The cost is $40 members / $50 non-members.

  • Bring A Friend Days are coming up - December 4th and 5th and January 9th and 10th, but as a member you can bring a guest anytime you wish. Your guest is allowed to come once to a regular class (after that they have to get a membership of their own). Decide what is best for your friend - Bring A Friend Days are big high-energy classes with simple movements. Some people might prefer the attention in a regular class, and some might prefer the energy of bring a friend day.

  • Please remember to sign into ZenPlanner when you arrive and log your score before you leave.

  • Drew, Caleigh, and Jen are willing and eager to help with movements you need help on. Come see us during our office hours or schedule skill sesh.

  • Finish the workouts strong AND together. It's not over until the last person is done!

This week we are continuing with our CAT (compensatory acceleration training) cycle on the strength movements with a sprinkle of Oly-lifts to keep the movement patterns fresh. Conditioning work (WODs) are starting to look a little bit more like the Opens with some optional scale ups.
