Community Updates: March 30, 2015
The Opens have come to an end (don't forget to submit you 15.5 score), but our training has not!!
Check out what's in store in the upcoming weeks!!
Monday March 30th
Congratulations again on everyone that closed on the opens:) There were over 50 people that completed all 5 open workouts. And a huge thank you as well to those that came to cheer and support!
Now that the Opens are behind us, we are using the month of April for a little fun and redefining our goals for next year. This week is all about fun and teamwork. All the workouts are partner or team workouts. There are no MODs this week, but you will see some movements re-appear now that the opens are over (rope climbs, anyone?).
Next week is virtuosity week. The best athletes are ALSO the best movers. We are being very intentional about working on fundamentals under low weight. There will still be a WOD, but the focus of every class this week is mechanics. For this week only all members have unlimited classes. Come to as many classes as you can and build that foundation.
At the end of next week we will also be hosting Bring A Friend Days!
Thursday night at 6pm is Bring A Friend Day for the World's Best Boot Camp. It will take place at the park behind Candler hospital. If you know someone interested in the boot camp, feel free to attend with them that day.
Next Friday and Saturday are Bring A friend Days at all our regular classes. Please remember that you are your guests ambassador for the class. That means you should introduce them to the coach and other athletes, show them where to put their belongings, and have them fill out a waiver. These days the theme is No Pants Party - so come in your best spring shorts. To make it easy to share with your friends we've created a facebook event page. Gymnastics Skill Clinic - Tuesday March 31st 6:30pm. JT will be teaching key positions common to all gymnastics movements including hanging, handstands, pressing, and more. https://hyperformance.sites.zenplanner.com/event.cfm?eventId=42BCB51B-A3E4-48CF-8B3F-0C2DABFA0F29
Next month we will host a gymnastics part 2, but ask that you've attended this first part. The athletes that attended this skill clinic a few weeks ago were immediately able to put into practice some practical applications for the clinic.

We need your help...
Please remember if you bring kids to take a minute or two to pick up after them in the kids area. If they bring food please be sure to take it home with you - it will attract rodents.
Please come on time. We want to provide the best quality coaching and experience for everyone in class and this just isn't possible when folks continuously arrive late. We don't want to have to turn people away for being late, but may need to do what is in the class's best interest.
We expect everyone to sign in when you come to class. If you cannot sign in for some reason you need to let a coach know.
Looking forward to a fun, amazing week!
Keep up the great training!
