It’s happening!  Monster Meet THIS SATURDAY.  Please be advised there are NO Classes Saturday.  Come participate, cheer, or even volunteer. 

 

  • To participate - register no later than Wednesday.  The event is free.  Add your name to the clipboard at the gym or register online.   Arrive at the gym after 7:15 to warm-up, all lifters need to be there by 7:45, first lift at 8am. 

  • To volunteer (we need plate changers Saturday and set up Friday afternoon) email Drew. Volunteers are needed from 7:15 onward. 

  • To cheer - just show up!  There are limited chairs so bring a folding one. The first lift will start at 8am. 

 

NEW CLASS!!!  And We need your help celebrating!  

Yes, we’re adding another again.  2 new class times for your WODing convenience.  9 AM on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS.   Which means that now there will be a 9 am Monday - Friday!

 

In celebration of the new time we are having a week of FREE CLASSES at 9am all next week.  This is for anyone who new.  The 9am class is the perfect time to start a journey into Crossfit.   Please share this link to our Facebook event page with all the details:  https://www.facebook.com/events/786991884756660/

 

Time to Chat?

Have you met with your primary coach yet?  Our goal is connect with you by the end of the month.  Expect a call from your primary coach to set a time to review your goals and put some strategies in place before the end of the year.

 

Programming -

This week we wrap up our Oly focus. If you want to re-test your 1RMs make sure to sign up for Saturday’s meet before Wed.  Next, we will be switching to more gymnastics in the MODs in class through the end of the year.  Progression is so important in the phase.  Take the first few weeks to really lay the groundwork for movement patterns and mobility.   Skipping steps can be detrimental.   You’ll hear us talk more about our gymnastics progressions in the coming weeks.   

 

2015 Gobble Games

Hosted by Crossfit Hyperformance - Spots are half gone!  The event will be capped at 32 team of 2 men and 2 women. . Come throw down with teams from all over the Low Country.  Teams are guaranteed at least 4 fun workouts that test your GPP.  This competition is an ENTRY LEVEL competition specifically for our All Level Athletes.   • Pre-hab - preventing injury is easy if you know what to do.  October 29th at 6:45pm. 

  • Goal Setting and Positive Self-Talk (A CFHP favorite!) with Drew.  October 31st 10am.
