Community Updates: November 2, 2015

Did you know? We have over 50 how-to videos on our YouTube Channel (insert link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8z2NEyXfDck3NHx-CTIC8g) . (Plus all those great monthly updates videos that Sean puts together). More are added every week, especially some of these foundation gymnastics movements that you are seeing in class for the first time. Check it out today!

What to expect this week

We are in our second week of programming towards building gymnastic competency. This means you’ll see lots of positioning work, shoulder and wrist stability, and working to support your body weight in the MODS. Even though there is some strength assignments, these are for maintenance and not as much of a priority as getting the gymnastics work in and getting through the WODs. Pay close attention to scaling instructions in class. You may see different scaling for the same movements on different days. This is because some skills (like double-unders) require putting together multiple tasks and we are tackling them individually. That’s why it’s a SKILL….it will take some practice.

GOBBLE GAMES are almost here! Gather your team of 2 Men and 2 Women for this amazing day. Workouts are new athlete friendly, quick, test your teamwork skills. You’re guaranteed at least 4 workouts. Spots are limited to 32 teams. Thursday is the final deadline to guarantee you receive an event T-shirt. https://hyperformance.sites.zenplanner.com/event.cfm?eventId=94AD685D-BC05-47C3-AFAF-EF6FC3A04790
