COMMUNITY

Athlete Appreciation Day - is September 30th. Come celebrate 8 years of helping people create positive forward momentum. Instead of evening classes we will host our final hero workout in a FNL-style event followed by a Hyperformance nation party. Families are welcome for the party, but athletes must be responsible for their children, especially while the workout is happening.

First Saturday Friend Day is TURNING PINK next Saturday October 1st at Daffin Park. Join us for the start of Breast Cancer awareness month with a workout. Come workout for a cause and in support of friends and family fighting this battle! www.turnitpink.org

Coach’s Throwdown - come support (and bid for) Krista, Caleigh, Avery, and Freddy as they battle for Bragging Rights against coaches from neighboring affiliates. The event is being hosted by Crossfit Steadfast. Bidding for best box takes place between 3-4 pm, bidding for individual athletes before each heat. All the proceeds goes to Barbells for Boobs. Please join us for a fun exciting evening at CF Steadfast.

Sponsor Deadline for 3rd Annual Gobble Games is this Friday Sept. 30th.

3rd ANNUAL GOBBLE GAMES presented by Hyperformance Athletics will be taking place on Friday evening November 11th (Veteran’s day) and Saturday November 12th. This 4 person team (2 male / 2 female) event is appropriate for ALL Levels regardless of competition experience. We will also feature a new venue - the Chatham County Aquatic Center. Registration is now open for both competitors and volunteers:

TRAINING

October Nutrition Challenge - Fall Into Greatness. What’s holding you back from looking and feeling your best? With the intensity at which we train, recovery must be maximized. Systemic (overall) inflammation caused by poor diet choices will hinder performance, make your abs go into hiding, and zap all of your energy. But worst of all, it will also cause those annoying little aches and pains to linger for too long and not heal as rapidly.

Our purpose is to continue to help you create positive forward momentum - and the base of that is fueling your body properly. This challenge address two major culprits in overall inflammation - too much sugar and alcohol. Your body doesn’t distinguish if it’s a weekday or weekend or if it’s football season or not. These substances affect you regardless.

So Here are the details of the challenge. We dare you to Fall into Greatness.

  • No sweet stuff.

  • No Alcohol.

  • Eat 4+ servings of vegetables a day.
