Community Updates - January 16, 2017

Let’s start off with some inspiration from Drew…

We’re weeks out from the biggest battle of our fitness lives and it all comes down to the day’s training. Either we grow as a team or we are going to crumble. Inch by inch, day by day till we're finished. One inch, at a time.

Now I can't do it for you. You have to want it.

You find out that life is just a game of inches.

So is the Crossfit Open. Because in either the game of life or the Open the margin for error is so small. I mean one half step too late or to early and you don't quite make it. One half second too slow or too fast and you don't quite clean it. The inches we need are everywhere around us. They are in every break of the game, every repetition, every second.

On this team, we fight for that inch. On this team, we tear ourselves, and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We CLAW with our fingernails for that inch.

Cause we know when we add up all those inches that's going to make the difference between WINNING and LOSING.

Now I can't make you do it. You gotta look at the person next to you. Look into their eyes. I think you are going to see a person who will go that inch with you. You are going to see a person who will sacrifice themselves for this team because they knows when it comes down to it, you are gonna do the same thing for them.

That's a team, folks. And you are a part of one of the greatest teams on the planet.

Now, whattaya gonna do? We train, laugh, cry, bleed, and grow together. How can you make someone better TODAY?


Rep Your Gym is a fitness series designed for EVERYONE at ANY fitness level. It takes place 2 times a year (February/August) at gyms all over the World. We love referrals! If you know someone who is interested in training with us, the BEST way for them to start is with a 1-on-1 First Day Appointment. It’s all about them, their questions, and introducing them how and why we train. Our next Small Group Fundamentals program will begin on Tuesday Feb. 7th.


We have 1 big Open tester this week on Monday. We will go a little heavier than last time because you are stronger. If you did the Open in 2014 try to beat your score. For you folks that didn’t, the key here is the TTB. The rest of the week is AMAZING. Partner interval work on Tuesday with the RETURN OF THE MODs. We Back Squat Heavy on Wednesday with a sprinty metcon. Thursday and Friday are awesome opportunities to work on strategy. Saturday is a “I like the way you work it” Day.

Next Open Prep Workshop will be Saturday January 28th from 1-3.
