Going Past Comfortable

Coach Caleigh here....

Your comfort zone is somewhere you are safe. It's familiar and something you are used to. Check out this video to see how to use this to your advantage.

Some things that are inside your comfort zone now, weren't inside your comfortable at some point in time. You had to get uncomfortable try something new, do something new, go somewhere new. And the more you got familiar with something new, the more comfortable you got with it.

Maybe it's about being nervous about what other people think. Guess what? People are more concerned with what they are doing, than watching you. (and if not, then that's their problem).

I want you to get more comfortable getting uncomfortable. Eventually, it will become familiar and may even loose a little of it's excitement.

We used to have a term inside the gym called exervous. Your body has a very similar reaction to being both nervous and excited. For example before a workout you may experience a higher heart rate. You can absolutely choose if that feeling is nervousness or excitement and whether or not that response will push you forward or hold you back.

Challenge you today to do something a little bit outside your comfort zone, or maybe to finish something you've been putting off completing. Sometimes we have a fear because we don't know what is going to happen or what the outcome will be. We can choose to go out and ACT and do our best in the moment, and let the outcome take care of itself.

Go out and get excited!
