Gobble Games V - November 17th, 2018

Need a partner? Post a request in our private Facebook page - the Crossfit Social Club. The event you've been waiting all year for is open for registration. This M/F partner competition hosted by HPA will be a day of throwing down against teams for across the entire Low Country.

Morning events will be at the gym - classic crossfit style. Afternoon events offsite, TBA. Athletes and Volunteers Register here:

It's BAAACK! 7pm on Fridays is officially back on the schedule. Starting this Friday.

WOD Preview

  • Tuesday - Fun chipper with HSPU and overhead plate lunges, harder sit-ups, and rowing cals.

  • Wednesday - work on vertical pressing with shoulder press, push press, and push jerk. Then 3 rounds of some MU or strict pullups, power cleans, and step ups.

  • Thursday - one of our favorite benchmarks, Helen. Running, Kettlebell Swings, and Pullups.

  • Friday - weighted step-ups, then a superset of reverse flys and slam balls. WOD is fast one with DB front squats and burpees.

  • Saturday - First Saturday Friend Fest! 15 min AMRAP with running, lemon squeezers, jumping pullups, and air squats. Yay!

Announcing HyperStrike! Coming October 13th.

Join Coach Tiffany for 5 weeks of Crossfit Striking beginning October 13th. Class will meet on Saturdays from 10:15 - 11:15 am.

CrossFit Striking is an immersive experience that teaches participants how to increase overall fitness, core strength, rotational speed and power by incorporating striking drills into CrossFit workouts. (NON-CONTACT). The HyperStrike course will introduce athletes to proper striking techniques, increasing rotational work, speed, power, accuracy , agility, general preparedness and self protection.

Cost is $75 for non-members, and $50 for HPA members. Register here.

We will be placing a second gym order for hand grips later this week for all of those that missed the chance on Saturday. If you'd like to be included in the order see the order form at the front desk.
