We do not know the hour of our death. Some people mistake MOVEMENT for PROGRESS. Just because you are HUSTLING (working super long hours) does not mean you are progressing. Do meaningful work that drives your life's needle forward, not just move for movement's sake. Quality always over quantity.

#ShareTheSweat - Invitation Only Guest Days
This week you have the opportunity to bring a guest to any class on Friday and First Saturday Friend fest at 9am. Earn 5 points for each guest that comes (cannot be a former member). Make sure they bring their invitation on Friday and arrive a few minutes before class to fill out a waiver.
The top 3 point earners this week will be announced next Monday!

Happy 4th of July Week. Remember that back in 1774 WE the people wanted to overthrow a tyrannical government. Some things are worth fighting for.
No lifting this week. We are just going to focus on General Physical Preparedness.
Monday we will work on barbell cycling with power cleans front squats and jerks.
Tuesday we are doing a chipper of sorts - HSPU, Sit-ups and Air squats, followed by weighted OHS and Rowing.
Wednesday is station day with Hip Thrusts, Ring Flies, spiral snatch , AAB and some sledgehammer swings.
Thursday is July 4th so only one class at 9am. We will do two 17 minute AMRAPs.
Friday is our first bring a friend friday of the month. We will do simple movements. Running, KB swings, step-ups and hanging leg raises. Saturday is also First Saturday Friend fest. Farmer's carry, push-ups good mornings, ring rows, and situps form this fun partner metcon.

HPA ENDURANCE COURSE - 5 spots left!
Want to learn some fun, new skills when it comes to cardio based movements?
Need a little push when it comes to Endurance?
HPA's Endurance course will start on July 10th with a baseline, testing where you are now. After 6 weeks of technique work and utilizing these NEW skills involving the AAB, Ski erg, Row, Running, and double unders; we will retest your new favorite movements and compare apples to apples.
Participants will meet on Wednesdays at 7pm and Saturdays 10:15pm.
The cost for non-members is $225 and for members is $185 (use discount code in community updates email or ask at the front desk).

Youth Lifting Camp - July 22nd.
The next Youth Lifting Camp will be held July 22nd - July 24th. The deadline to register will be Thursday July 18th.
Let Hyperformance Athletics help bridge the gap for your kids from middle school to high school ports. Hit the ground running next year with a technique camp for lifting weights. This camp is designed to teach basic weight lifting techniques to rising 7, 8th, and 9th graders. In this camp we will cover lower body lifting techniques for the back squat, front squat, deadlift, lunge, and power cleans. We will cover upper body lifts to include: bench press, shoulder press, push press, and bent over row.
July 22 - 24th - 11:15. Cost is $75 and registration is open to any 7th, 8th, or 9th grader in

Fluffy Knuckles Meet - SAVE THE DATE August 10th
Join us for the 2nd Annual Fluffy Knuckles lift-off to honor Mike McFadden and support his family. The event takes place right at the end of our strength cycle, and consists of a 1 RM M"Mac" Press, 1 RM back squat, and 1 RM clean. Whether you're a lightweight, heavyweight, Old school or New School, and danc'n fool it's gonna be a great time to be together.
