Feels like a Motley Crue song in the gym this week, Girls, Girls Girls. We are introducing ourselves to 6 new girl workouts this week.

  • Monday- Hope is a spicy version of Fight Gone Bad with Burpees, Power Snatch, Box Jumps, Thrusters and CTB Pull-ups

  • Tuesday- Jay-Quelen with rowing and KB Swings

  • Wednesday- Gwen is decreasing reps of unbroken Clean and Jerks

  • Thursday- Marguerita is a lot of reps of body weight movements

  • Friday- Kare-Bar is deadlifts, wall balls, sit-ups and air squats with some rest in between.

  • Saturday is Maggie with HSPU, Pull-ups and Pistols

Youth Lifting Camp - July 22nd.

The next Youth Lifting Camp will be held July 22nd - July 24th. The deadline to register will be Thursday July 18th.

Let Hyperformance Athletics help bridge the gap for your kids from middle school to high school ports. Hit the ground running next year with a technique camp for lifting weights. This camp is designed to teach basic weight lifting techniques to rising 7, 8th, and 9th graders. In this camp we will cover lower body lifting techniques for the back squat, front squat, deadlift, lunge, and power cleans. We will cover upper body lifts to include: bench press, shoulder press, push press, and bent over row.

July 22 - 24th - 11:15. Cost is $75 and registration is open to any 7th, 8th, or 9th grader in

Savannah. Register here.

Fluffy Knuckles Meet - August 10th

Lifting Barbells and Lifting Others is what's up.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Fluffy Knuckles lift-off to honor Mike McFadden and support his family.

It's only $25 and proceeds go directly to the McFadden family.

During the event you'll rotate through 3 stations, working up to a 1RM back squat, 1RM clean, and 1 RM MAC press. Just as we're completing our strength cycle no less (we will not be testing 1 RMs on these lifts in class) Whether you're a lightweight, heavyweight, Old school or New School, and danc'n fool it's gonna be a great time to be together.
