Around the World in 80 days is a wonderful tale by French writer Jules Verne. I loved this story as a child, and can still sit through the numerous movie adaptations. The story involves the characters trying something that seemed impossible at the time. It took them 80 days to travel round the world. Our intention over the next 80 days is to help you radically change YOUR world. From October 13 until December 31st we are going to give one quick tip for changing your life for the better. Our hopes are that in challenging yourself to these tips, your life will improve. The year 2020 has been differently difficult for everyone. Our goal is to help you finish the year on a really strong, positively moving note.
We are going to focus on three fairly broad categories of tips: Eat good food, move pain free daily, and live your best life. Eat good food will focus on the strategies behind understanding, creating, and planning healthy eating. Everything from why carbs are important to thinly slicing onions. Move pain free daily will focus on the tips and techniques that help you get out of pain AND stay active for life. Our focus in the gym has shifted over the years to be more longevity based. Live your best life will focus on a series of Proverbs, sayings, and actions steps we hold to be true. Think about the things your parents, grandparents and great-grandparents told you when you were younger. We will rotate between the three categories.
We strongly believe that small incremental habit adjustments are the best way to make lasting change. The mantra in the gym is to improve 1% everyday. Take one tiny action step per day. Over the course of 30 days you start to see some tangible change. In 80 days, you might just become a radically different person.
