Hyperformance Kids uses a combination of skill practice, workouts and games to build strength and conditioning in children. Our classes include elements of gymnastics, weight lifting, body weight movements, running, jump roping, and more. Our goal is to make fitness FUN. Specifically, Hyperformance Kids teaches the 10 General Physical Skills. These skills are the base for any sport or discipline your child may pursue.

Class meets Saturday at 10:15am.  Cost is $100 for a pack of 10 classes.  First class is free.  Mom or Dad, you will need to fill out a waiver first, some come early!

In addition to learning new skills, you will notice your child makes better food choices, is more focused in school, transitions to new sports easier, and has a reduced risk of sport-related injury.

Children and teens have a greater opportunity (relative to adults) to maximize their physical skills when exposed to this stimulus during years of peak development. The elements are combined to keep children engaged and entertained, while teaching them proper movement technique and creating a broad athletic foundation. Nutrition is also discussed as the basis of athletic performance and health within a supportive community. At Hyperformance, it is imperative to pair fitness and fun, to create a lifelong love of health and fitness for our children. At Hyperformance Athletics there are no benchwarmers – everyone participates and discovers that FITNESS IS FUN!

Expectations and Parental Support

Kids may attend as often as they can and want. If your child has a sport schedule, please speak with their coach to evaluate their schedule. We recommend classes be maintained even during sport season; discuss a “maintenance” schedule with your trainer.

Parent-trainer communication is vital to your child’s success. Speak with the trainer to let them know how they may best provide care for your child. Especially let them know if there are any special needs or medications or changes in health status (getting over an illness or growth spurts).

Children should be dressed appropriately for active movement.  Tennis shoes, shorts, and cool clothes in the summer and layers in the winter.  They will be running, jumping, and spending a little time upside down (please no skirts).

Teen Sport Performance

Hyperformance Teen Sports Performance Class builds confidence as it prepares teens for sport and life.   We combine traditional strength and conditioning with drills and games.  Lifting and workouts increase power, speed, and stamina and also help to prevent injury.  Drills and games help to improve reaction time, spatial awareness, and confidence in play.  Most importantly though, our teens are challenged with some tough workouts.   With coaching and teamwork they overcome and can apply the lessons learned to life outside the gym.

Classes meet Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30 - 4:30pm.  Most of our teens plays sports too and therefore can come to either 1 or 2 classes per week depending on their schedule.   Cost is $100 for a pack of 10 classes.  Class packs are valid for 6 months from purchase.
